The Conference was held on the premises of EMPA and marked the 125th year of the institute’s commitment to research in fibers, fiber-based products and textiles. 2004 Annual Meeting and Technical Conference The Fiber Society 2004 Annual Meeting and Technical Conference was be held October 11-13, 2004 at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY. The meeting was being organized by Professor Kay Obendorf (sko3@cornell.edu) and Professor Anil Netravali (ann2@cornell.edu). 2004 Spring Symposium The Fiber Society 2004 Spring Symposium was held May 17-20, 2004 in Radisson Hotel, Clayton, MO. The hotel is very close to the Washington University in St. Louis, MO. The meeting was organized by Dr. K. J. Choi(kchoi@aafintl.com) of AAF International and Prof. Da-ren Chen (chen@me.wustl.edu)of Washington University.
